Emerging Environmental Technologies Towards a Cleaner and Sustainable Society

During the 238th ACS national meeting to be held from August 16-20, 2009 at Washington, DC, a two day session that includes scientific lectures and group discussion will be organized. Scientists involved in developing cutting edge next generation environmental technologies are invited to submit abstracts for the above titled session organized by Division of Environmental Chemistry. Key officials from NSF, EPA, DARPA and DOE will be invited to present their views during the session on how the agencies are and will be playing a role in developing technologies that will benefit the environment. The session is aimed to provide a platform for presentation of research and policy that focuses on development of novel technological breakthroughs in the field of environmental sciences.
